Just dirst and rocks.

That is what is in my yard, just dirt and rocks. The rocks are landscaped and the dirt is in the garden bed, but it is still dirt and rocks. After getting after my husband for a couple of years to mow our very tiny front lawn, I decided to dig it up and cover it in rocks. I can not mow, but I can weed. I really like it and we get quite a few compliments. It is also nice because we have no water access in the front, so water is down to a minimal. All we have to do is water the pumpkin patch in the parking strip. We are known as the pumpkin house, but that is another story.

We celebrated earth day this week. Did you do anything special. When I take the time to slow down and enjoy the beauty of nature I am amazed at our Heavenly Father's creations. It also always makes me think of the hymn "For The Beauty of the Earth". Do you know that hymn, it is on page 92 of the current hymn book. The words are listed to the left.
