My Ward Chapel

 

I just spent conference weekend in Denver Colorado. It was my wedding anniversary and the cheapest travel package my husband and I could find for a short weekend get away. Colorado is also a special place to me. I lived there for a couple of years when I was a Beehive. It is the place where I started to gain a testimony of the church for myself. I was able to watch General Conference in the Broomfield First Ward chapel. It brought back so many good memories. I took a picture of the building as we left and I thought about all of the ward houses that are special to me. The one I was blessed in, baptized and confirmed. This Colorado one, the one in Idaho where generations of my family have served and worshiped. Liberty Ward in Salt Lake City where I have my first memories of church, and come to find out my husbands family has served for generations. There are so  many chapels and places. I think it would make for a great layout! I am up in Idaho this weekend for a family funeral and can gather some pictures while there. The rest of the chapels are in town (luckily) and I plan to make it this months project. I will post it when I am done. We would love to see what chapels are important to you.
