So two weeks ago I was wrapping up our Twilight project. I made 920 completed pages. My daughter Kate was helping me bag them and she said "Mom how come all of these say Nov. 2007". Utter devastation. I had hand stamped every single one of them with the wrong date. It had taken me two weeks and with only seven days left I had to figure out how to correct my error. I am sure it was inspiration, but I pulled out the label maker and started making labels. They turned out cuter, but it seriously was up at 6:30 to bed at 11:00. My kids got the basics, but Ihad to write a note for my son begging his teacher to excuse him from his "big" assignment for a week. (He has learning disabilities and needs a lot of hands on for homework). I got the project done in time, but everything else suffered. So for the past two weeks I have been playing catch up. Family first, church second, family business, and now finally LDSscrap. (Did I mention Thanksgiving was in between all that?)
I have been thinking about stress during all this. How we deal with it, learn from it , collapse because of it. My way to deal with stress is to work harder, longer, and to the point of exhaustion. This time as I saw that mentality take affect on my kids I wondered if that was the best thing to do. So that is my excuse for the lateness of the Christmas items on line and sale information. Also for all you Twilight fans, that is why our Twilight items are not on line yet. It is still boxed up from the premier. We are getting there though and by the end of the week we should be back to normal. Al though it is Christmas season and what is really normal at Christmas?
